CHAMPIONS

We didnt go undefeated....however we still won the CHAMPIONSHIP!
It was double elimination and we lost the first game, which forced us to play a double header. We ended up winning the 2nd game to take the title!!

All Star Dixie Sweeties - Game 4

Thats right.. so now we are headed to the CHAMPIONSHIP GAME!!

All Stars Dixie Sweeties - Game 3

Tonight was the best game yet...

I hit 3 singles and a double and got LOTS of outs at home plate.

The other team played awesome.. and so did we. I think other than us, they are the best team out there. We played them inning for inning and by the 4th... we were tied.

So... we had to play into a 5th inning (overtime) and we ended up.....

WINNING!!! Final Score.... 36-32

Here we are after the game for snacks and coach speech....

Our coaches said they couldnt be more proud of us. Even though we were tired.. we stuck it out and never gave up.

Next game.... Tomorrow night.

We had our first All-Star game....

(Note: The score would have been much higher, but we didnt even take our last turn at bat because we had already won.)

Since we won, we are still in the "winning bracket" which puts our next game Monday evening.

All-Star Opening Ceremonies

Opening ceremonies started with the star spangled banner, a prayer and announcing of the teams in the tournament.....

Next, they served us all pizza...

Then we took team and individual pictures..

(Mom snuck a pic with her camera)

Then it was time for some face painting....

(I got a ball on one side and red/white/blue rainbow on the other side)

Bailey and I ...while we wait to find out what bracket we are in.....

Looks like we start playing tomorrow evening!!

We got our uniforms for All-Stars last night at practice and I couldnt wait to come home and try it on....

Father's Day 2007

For Father's day, Daddy said he wanted to do something fun with his girls so we decided to take him bowling. Before we went, we made him a bowling cake to show him where we were going.

After we got back... we had chicken kabobs and then our yummy cake.

Of course it wouldnt be complete without singing Happy Father's Day to Daddy...

And then of course, we had to blow out the candles...

Then we got to dig in...

It sure was yummy with our buttercream icing... and fondant bowling pins....

After we were done, we spent the afternoon in the pool.
Daddy says it was one of the best days ever.

I completed my swimming lessons with the Red Cross and I passed Level 2.

Closing Ceremonies

The season has ended for the Little Lady Tigers. We are proud to say we came in 2nd place! Here we are at the closing ceremonies.
