The stockings were hung...

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care in hopes that St. Nicholas would soon be there....

The children were nestled all snug in their bed...

While visions of sugarplums danced in their heads...

Its Christmas eve, and we cant wait for Santa to come. We baked cookies and sang christmas songs and had lots of fun. Tomorrow cant come fast enough..

Run Run Rudolph

Sunday we were in the local Christmas Parade with our dance studio.

Louisiana Boardwalk

We took a ride to Shreveport to do some shopping at the boardwalk.

Hey Grandma, Wish you were here.....

After eating dinner at Joe's Crab Shack and riding the Trolley, we headed over to

watch the tree lighting....

She sure loves Christmas lights and the cold weather...



The we took a spin on the carousel..

We got lots of shopping done, but before we left we made sure to get some yummy ice cream at Stone Cold Creamery and check out the fountain lights at night.

We had such a great time, that we slept the entire 2 hour ride home.

Now we cant wait to go back.

Daddy's Christmas Party

This past weekend we went to a Christmas party at Daddy's unit. We had lots of fun. We stayed in a hotel friday night...

Here we are having fun and hanging out in the hotel..

Saturday we headed on over to Daddy's unit for the Christmas party.

I (Emily) climbed the rock wall..

Then we played on the jumpers for awhile until the Military Santa arrived with our presents...

We then got to eat lunch and watch Daddy give blood. We had a great time.

12 Weeks

At 12 weeks you are no longer our little newborn. You are developing into such a sweet and very vocal little baby now. You are so interested in food that it is not even funny. You dislike (a nice way of putting it) when we stop at redlights and you are such a giggling mess when your sisters are around. You love to hear the song "Five Little Ducks". You got your little ears pierced this month and your starting to fit into those 0-3 month clothes. You are sleeping through the night from 8ish at night till 8ish in the morning. You take after your sisters for sure..and you are definitely your daddy's child.

Your newest skill is that you can hold your head up and you even flipped yourself onto your back once. I am still waiting to get that one on camera but you wont cooperate of course.



So it seems this is your new favorite way to be... Your sisters LOVE the fact that they can get down on the floor with you and "play". You on the other hand, just look at them dumbfounded. Yep, those are really your sisters.




You really seem to love looking at everything! The christmas tree and watching football with Daddy are two of your favorite things. Daddy says he can see you being his little football partner (in a cheerleading skirt that is). Because you are such a girly girl already. And if Bailey has anything to do with it, your shoe collection will be as big as hers.



You definitely add some spice and flair to our family with your silly little personality. You are so giggly and sweet and so fiesty and vocal all in the same breath. We cant wait to see what the next month brings.
